New modern hotel in a great location

We were very keen to try this newly opened hotel in the heart of Mooloolaba. Location was excellent, being very close to the beach, shopping, restaurants & cafes.
Staff service was very attentive & great.
Modern lobby area with plenty of seating.
We stayed in a Junior Suite of the ninth floor. It ended up being on the corner of the hotel at the end of the corridor, therefore it was very quiet with a great view.
The room was very modern and extremely clean. We however didn’t like the room layout. It was an awkward layout. The sofa was oversized & far too close to the large television to be comfortable. Bed was facing the opposite direction therefore; we were not able to watch the television from bed. No privacy in the bathroom, as it was fully open to the room. However, the shower & toilet both did have opaque glass doors.
Bed was comfortable, but the linens and pillows were not the best quality. Only found the pillow menu when packing up to leave the hotel. The bath towels were large and fluffy.
The hotel facilities & rooms would certainly appeal and fit the style of younger guests, but it is good to try out new properties.

Why does the “bathroom” have no walls??

A four person room with a frosted glass CUBICLE for a toilet and shower that opens into the whole room is insane! Bathroom design peaked with “walls” and “doors” and this place has NONE of that. Unless you’re just staying with a long term partner it’s not fit for purpose.
Anyway… I’m not allowed to book the group trip accommodation anymore

Affordable luxury on the Sunshine Coast

We had a deluxe double room, spacious, includes a terrace. High end rea/coffee and bathroom supplies. Decor so beautiful. Staff lovely and well trained. Many good restaurants and bars close walk.Sully’s rooftop and pool fabulous.

Open Door Welcome = Avani

Perfect for short stays, not long-term stays. For the young, there is a nightclub nearby if you like loud music.

A great experience. As a first visit, I found the ambience of the foyer lovely to step into and I cannot say enough, how the staff are outstanding and the rooftop restaurant and bar stunning.
