Perth is a beautiful city. The park along the river is great for running and I loved the pelicans and other birds that were around! There were dolphins in the river too! From Perth, take a trip to Rottnest island before jumping off to the rest of WA. There were some good rooftop bars as well and local coders to try! Be warned that it’s a tough place to find tourist activities if it’s raining for most of your trip.

Hospitality culture shattered from mining boom of 10yrs which drives the culture. Lack of people 1.5 mil in a huge country means space and wait a while for resources. Great for families and resting in a quiet theme and very Clear everything (too much as are the rules lol)

I grew up in Perth and returned here after living abroad, and in recent years it has really grown up as a city and is far from the boring, isolated town it used to be! It's still isolated, but has so much to do, lots of festivals happening all the time, amazing weather and lots of outdoor activities, and increasingly even good food (though a bit pricey - one downside!). But I love it!

Perth girl born and bred I love this place and have visited all the states in Australia and nothing beats it
