Perfect

Hotel Top. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I arrived with a tour group and we were welcomed friendly and fast. They also helped me (bus driver) with advice and deeds (parking,...).
Thanks again to everyone.
I'm sure we'll see each other again.

Good choice

We got a table for 2 on a weekday without reservation, the building is really huge. The food was very good, honestly cooked and down to earth, appealingly served. The menu is regional, seasonal and varied.

Lovely location, spacious and clean hotel in Weiz

The Ederer Hotel is a very nice hotel in the Austrian town of Weiz. I was there for business for a couple of nights. The Hotel is located on a hill which boasts nice views of the surrounding hills.
The room is very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast and dinner was nice with fresh bread and cold meats, fresh coffee and juices.
You do need a car to stay here, as it is not too close to the center of town.
There is a nice looking church next to the hotel, and also there is a pretty cool bar next door.

Eerily quiet, feels more like a hostel than a four star hotel!

Arrived at 9pm… front door locked (despite sign saying it’s open 07:00 to 23:00), noticed a map on the wall advising where the back door is if you arrived outside of these times.
Eventually found the back door, walked in to find nobody around, no bar, no restaurant… no-one. Eventually realised there was a note near reception advising they were closed and my key was just left out.
Caught a lift down into a basement, then had to catch a different lift to go up another floor… eerily quiet. Room was very basic. No tea and coffee making facilities.
No attempt had been made to contact me pre arrival so arrived tied and hungry and very disappointed.
Bed comfy.
Breakfast team very unfriendly. Food okay… typically Austrian, cold meats, cheese and fish.

Loved it

It was the best decision to stay here during our short holiday in Austria. We booked one single and one double room, both rooms were great. I absolutely loved my single room, it was way too spacious for only one person. The decor of the room was simple, nothing to mention, but the bathroom, it was amazing, and so so big. The bed was the best part of the room, so comfy. The view was good from my window.
The staff was really friendly, smiling, and always very helpful. I really appreciated their kindness. It stands for the people on the recepcion, the cleaning ladies, and the staff in the restaurant. Everyone was so kind.
We ate breakfast in the hotel, there were different meat and cheese product. You could order omlets or other kind of eggs, and they were served fresh. I really enjoyed the fruits, strawberry, rasberry, etc, they were so fresh and delicious. You could order coffee as well.
The spa area is totally awesome. You can use the swimming pool till 10 pm, and it is beautiful and spotless. Not to mention the sauna, you have to ask for the key and wait till its warming up, but then you have a sauna just for yourself. I loved the hours I spent there.
The hotel is not in the center of Weiz, but there are no noise, it is right next to the church, there is a big, lovely garden, and by car you reach the center in a few minutes.
On two evening we stayed in the hotel, and ate dinner in the restaurant. Its really comfortable just to walk down the stairs, and you can have a really good dinner. Everything we ordered was really delicious and amazingly served.
We really enjoyed our stay here, I would definitely come back.
