Very nice and quiet

We stayed at the Guts-Herren-Klause in Dankerode and we loved it! The food was really delicious, typical German cuisine, and the Service was great – friendly and attentive.
We stayed there too. The rooms are rustic decorated in wooden style, very clean and cozy – with nice TV and either a view of the courtyard or the countryside.
Breakfast for 15 € is absolutely fine: There are various types of sausages, some cheese, jam, honey, Nutella and on request scrambled eggs, fried eggs or hard-boiled eggs. We would definitely come back!

Throttle in the kitchen

"I was with friends in the landlord's retreat today, we got a table at short notice, were greeted appropriately and the ambience is also fine.Unfortunately that is not true for the food. The steaks were tough and not through fried although desired, the Thuringian grate bratel was too thick and not knocked. Except for that, the food was cold.The roulades were ok, but the herb came out of the glass....Here the kitchen has to "step up properly" to settle the Thuringian cuisine in Hesse too!

We were there with a larger group. The drinks service was good. The buffet lacked or was not sufficient despite the number of people registered for plates, salad, supply of French fries or schnitzels. And there was only a schnitzel buffet ordered, which was also overpriced.
