Good stay

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming, available, and always smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The location is ideal, well-situated, and convenient for getting around or exploring the surroundings.
The on-site restaurant is also a nice surprise: the dishes were good and well-presented.
One small point to improve: the bathroom doors make a rather unpleasant noise, which can be a bit bothersome.

Hey Farah,
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us! It’s great to hear that you enjoyed your stay — especially our team’s friendliness, the convenient location, and the restaurant dishes. That really makes our day.
We totally get what you mean about the bathroom doors. Sometimes little details like that can make a big difference in comfort. We’ve already shared this with our maintenance crew so they can check the fittings and make sure those doors open and close quietly from now on.
Next time you’re around, we’d love to have you stay again and see the improvement for yourself. Thanks for helping us make the place even better!
Warm regards,
Guest Experience Team

Stressful experience and unprofessional

I had a very disappointing experience staying at this hostel from March 19th to March 24th.
Before arriving, I arranged a taxi through the hostel and received confirmation twice that it was booked. The taxi never showed up. As a solo female traveler arriving in a new place, this felt very unsafe and stressful.
When I got to the hostel, they couldn’t find my reservation—even though I showed my confirmation. While standing at reception, I checked Hostelworld and saw that my booking had been cancelled without my consent.
I had originally booked an all-female dorm and paid a deposit. Instead of fixing their mistake, I was told to make a new booking and pay another deposit. I never got the first deposit back—and I didn’t receive the second one back either.
On top of that, I was placed in a mixed dorm, despite specifically booking a female-only room. Other guests later told me that this type of dorm doesn’t even exist at the hostel, which is very misleading.
I tried to resolve this directly, but the hostel has not responded to my messages or refunded my money.
Overall, this experience was stressful, poorly handled, and unprofessional. I would not recommend staying here.

Disappointing experience

Disappointing experience: cumulative problems. Frustrating stay at this hotel. We had booked a superior room but received a standard, while being charged the higher rate. The refund was not made until after we reported it. The room was poorly insulated and located at the foot of the stairs, causing significant noise nuisance. A reminder about silence was only posted at reception.
Breakfast, very basic and without access to water, was proposed as a commercial gesture, but the overall experience lacked consideration and transparency

A total nightmare – Avoid at all costs!

I strongly advise anyone against staying at this place. My experience was a nightmare from start to finish. Around 9:00 PM, water literally started leaking from the ceiling of my room.
After reporting the issue, instead of apologizing or offering a proper solution, they moved me to a second room that was in appalling hygienic conditions: it was filthy and had an unbearable smell of mold and sewage. When I pointed out that it was impossible to stay in such an environment, the staff refused to look for other solutions and were extremely rude and unprofessional. Unacceptable behavior and a health hazard.
