Exceptional and beautiful Riad

This is a very special Riad which is well worth paying a little more for. The staff are wonderful and genuinely seem to care about looking after their guests and ensuring a very special experience (thank you Ibra, Sanna and Ashraf).
The building itself is absolutely stunning - it's more like a small palace/museum than a Riad - so many beautiful details and the rooms are huge and exquisite. Breakfast on the roof in the morning sunshine, a decent sized pool which is a wonderful for a refreshing dip in the afternoon, excellent restaurant and hammam recommendations. We loved every minute of our time there and didn't want to leave. Would return in a heartbeat.

A beautiful experience

A nice stay. Structure consisting of a few extremely spacious rooms comfortable and furnished with typical Moroccan style. Excellent staff. The only flaw the bathroom a bit 'too spartan and with the shower head rather rough. I recommend it

Gorgeous riad with amazing people running it

Beautiful riad in a great location with incredible people running it! Everyone we met, from Ibra to Saana to Achraf, were so welcoming and helpful. They really made Riad Afous feel like home during our stay - and helped with many recommendations (without pushing us to choose a specific place). The riad has been restored elegantly with a lot of original touches. The doors, windows and the stucco work are spectacular - especially in the main courtyard, which is so peaceful and hidden away from the hubbub of the street. The rooftop (including the pool) is nicely done. I wish I had the time to use it more. Our room was huge and classically designed, but with nice modern touches. The bathroom is wild with bright blue and yellow tiles and a bath you step down into (it was also nicely kitted out with great lights and also soaps and stuff). One final note about the breakfast... It was delicious, with cakes and breads and eggs and general yumminess!
Just don't get put off by the alleyway you have to walk down to get there! (And note it was round the corner from where Google Maps said it was - but I'm trying to change that!)

A beautiful oasis

We stayed here for 5 nights. The riad is beautiful, the staff could not be better and the breakfast was nice. The rooftop garden is a massive selling point just somewhere to relax in the midst of the madness which is Marrakesh. Would definitely recommend. My only small critic is our room was rather small but don’t let that put you off. Thank you for a lovely stay and all your help. Carole

Riad in the center of the Medina

The Riad is in a strategic position, practically in a souk, and 50 meters from the taxi stand. Spacious room, typically furnished and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Well deserved price.
