Oasis of peace in the heart of the Medina

We stayed 3 nights at Riad Laila and it was a lovely experience. The riad is located in a quiet area among the locals – at night the alleys seem a bit exciting, but it felt safe. The garden with palm trees, the swimming pool and the bird sounds create a relaxing atmosphere.
Our room was spacious and luxurious, and the staff – with special thanks to Gaelle, Mustafa and Abdul – were incredibly friendly and helpful. Abdul even stayed awake at night to make sure we were picked up safely.
Breakfast was fine, also with our gluten allergy. The first evening we enjoyed a delicious dinner of Moroccan cuisine – a perfect start to our stay.
And how nice: there are two turtles out there, one of which is already 27 years old! Only downside: the shower head was loose and was a bit low.
Furthermore, an absolute must for those looking for authenticity and hospitality in Marrakech.

Magnifique Riad Laila

I spent mid April, a wonderful family stay in this beautiful Riad. The welcome was warm from our arrival. The staff is of a rare kindness and always available, listening to us. The setting is exceptional with a traditional decoration neat and its large pool is a plus. A peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Riad Laila is a 10 minutes walk from the gardens of majorelle. Very nice experience, I hope to come back.

mmm.. hard hard hard, pity

Too cold, too cold and too cold.
I advise against riad in winter because it is impossible to sleep well.
Either we turn the air conditioning to get hot air, or we don't even get a foot off the sheets.
Little hot water and water pressure in the shower, so quick shower, even very fast. Cleanliness of the correct room despite.....
We came home with little red buttons in our bodies, me and my girlfriend... Any mites? Anything else?
Breakfast very good despite the lack of a little salty like cold cuts.
Very helpful and decent staff.
Location a little far from the center and small streets to cross in the evening, as well as the local market that takes place daily in front of the Ben Brahim access door to the medina.

Beautiful

We have just returned from our stay at beautiful Riad Laila. I can’t fault it. The food is delicious we had lemon chicken tagine on the night we arrived and breakfast every morning. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless it was cleaned everyday and fresh towels given. The Riad is so quiet and calming and was exactly what we needed after returning from excursions or busy medina. The staff were all so friendly and done their best to cater to our needs. They made us breakfast early one morning so we had something to eat before we went out on an excursion and offered us tea and coffee one night when we returned late from our dessert trip. They also organised our taxi to and from the airport. It’s such a great location only 10 mins in a taxi to medina and easy to get a taxi just outside. I would definitely recommend staying here it’s beautiful.
