An excellent refurbished hotel in Mojacar.
A beautifully refurbished hotel. We checked in on the 1st day of re-opening & decided to extend our stay. A modern pool area with a great animation team, especially the aqua aerobics. Staff are all very professional & helpful. All the areas of the hotel have been finished to a high standard. Fantastic sea views. The variety of food on offer is good quality. All areas of the hotel are spotless. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family.

A pleasant stay with some service issues
There is much to like about this hotel and we enjoyed our stay whilst we were there.
The bedrooms are very modern and spacious and the public areas are bright and cheerful. The outdoor areas are generous with no shortage of places to sit or lie down to relax.
It is nice to report that the bar prices for drinks and snacks are very reasonable and in the most part cheaper than the other concessions in the immediate area.
Unfortunately we did experience some issues during our stay.
The service at the bar throughout the day was very slow and not what we would consider to be four star. Average wait time to be served was in our experience around 15 minutes. We do feel we would have patronized the bar more if the service had been better.
On our first day we were invited to tell the hotel via email of our initial impressions of the hotel. We chose this opportunity to let the hotel know of some defects in our room, a broken waste on the bathroom sink, and the room security safe which was unusable.
Neither of these defects were rectified during our stay despite our room being serviced six times during this time. We do not understand why our initial email seems to have been ignored or why the housekeeper did not see and report these faults on any of her visits to the room.
Also, the door lock on our terrace door stopped working close to the end of our stay. This was reported to reception but again no action was taken to repair it before we checked out.
I have to say that none of these defects seriously spoiled our experience of the hotel, but given the hotel's four star rating we were disappointed to find any defects at all in the room.
There seems to be a disconnect between housekeeping and maintenance. Vigilant housekeepers who communicate effectively with a fully mobile maintenance department should result in a defect-free experience for the paying guests.

Super clean and newly renovated.
Comfortable beds - we slept four in the room and no problem.
Amazing pool area with lots of sunbeds and shade
Slides are located 100m outside the hotel
Breakfast really good; dinner buffet not very good.

Facilities and entertainment staff
The entertainment staff are all great the girls are always smiling, funny and happy to help and great entertainment music dancing and full of energy. The pool area and facilities are beautiful clean and well kept it’s a pleasure to use.

Good for kids for a week.
If you plan to just relax at the hotel with kids I would really recommend. A weeks stay is enough. There's softplay, playground, splash pool and mini disco for the children. We had all inclusive and the variety of food was ok. Not great but there was enough choices. Most are repetitive with a new main each day. The beach is literally across the road. We had sea view balcony which made it more pleasant catching the sunrise. The pool bar was closed half the stay but when opened the taps tasted more of gas than it should. No snacks after 11pm. Queues at bar. Location of the splash pool is uphill fyi. And there's no bar up there so have to go up and down which isn't ideal. Plenty of sun beds and people respected to not reserve them with their towels. The timings for meals is quite late with children dinner is from 8pm. Quite a few more tweaks and this would really be a great hotel! But our overall stay was pleasant. The beach doesn't have much to do and you'll need to hire sunbeds or just lounge on sand which was clean and water is clear. Bring an umbrella or buy one for shade.
