Edinburgh is a magical place, full of history, activities, restaurants, and wonderful people. It is easily one of the picturesque and entertaining places to visit in the UK. Do not miss the month-long FRINGE festival in August - the biggest and most diverse arts festival in Europe.

Highly recommend a visit to Arthur’s Seat & Dean Village for some breathtaking views. Don’t miss Calton Hill as well. We loved the castle, but the city as a whole is beautiful and charming.

I'm very biased as this is my home town. Having left as a pre-teen, then returned on the verge of 21yrs old, I've seen so much of this city. It fills my heart with joy. So much history. So much beauty. Please head of the beaten track. Meet the locals. But, also, hit the castle and all the things us locals ignore. Enjoy this all welcoming city and country!
